Post Mortem Press
Author-centric Small Press
Talented writers need a voice without the challenges and stigma associated with vanity press or self-publishing. Post Mortem Press is that voice. As an author-centric small press, we bridge the gap between self-publishing and corporate publishing. Our mission is to provide an outlet for new and established writers whose talent has not been acknowledged by the mainstream publishing community.
Our unique publishing model provides our authors with many of the benefits of "corporate" publishing without the complications. Because we are small, we offer a level of personal attention only the biggest names in writing would receive in the mainstream publishing world.
Formed in late 2010, Post Mortem Press has already caught the attention of the genre press world.
Post Mortem Press has published works by well know authors Jack Ketchum, F. Paul Wilson, Jonathan Maberry, Joe Schreiber, and more.
Brett Gray Art
Macabre Nightmares
A traditional artist, Brett Gray has been drawing since he was old enough to pick up a pencil, and studied Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. Using charcoal on paper to create his nightmarish portraits and macabre landscapes, he cites no particular source of inspiration for his work: everything from horror literature to film, folklore to the murky depths of his own subconscious all serve to inform what he draws.
Brett began selling prints of his art in September of 2010, and has since sold several of his originals to private collectors and completed multiple commissioned works . His first sale, a Lovecraftian piece entitled Night of the Old Ones, is now in the private collection of Jenette Kahn, former head of DC Comics.
He currently resides in Kentucky with his fiancée Sheryl and their two cats.

After talking over a period of a few years with Red Handed Studios founder/publisher, Cary Kelley, he joined Red Handed Studios. Since then he has polished up his already fantastic Talon book as well as worked up an intro story for a forthcoming web series, Seppuku Blues with Kelley and RD Hall (American Wasteland) and is now producing the sci-fi western Dead Reckoning as a series of stand alone graphic novels, which he co-created with Kelley. In addition to his comic work Watson also does portraits. Mike Eshelman
8 Bit Esh
Mike grew up in Columbus, Ohio during the 80s, and never quite escaped either one. Growing up surrounded by video games and comic books, his view of the world consisted of tiny squares coming together to form images, and his work reflects this love of the pixelated view. His current obsession is remaking images from pop culture in pixel form. "Working very closely to a piece with tweezers and a bright light, it only looks like a random collection of colors, but stepping away and giving it a different perspective, the image comes to life".
Borrowing images from such varied sources as Van Gogh, Lichtenstein, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, he can be found most evenings hunched over a few thousand beads with 80s New Wave playing in the background, slowly recreating real life in pixelated form, one teeny bead at a time.
